Rediscovering the wonders of Northern California

Summer is my busiest time of year when it comes to my other life outside of writing. As an educator, I have the opportunity to travel with my students to various in and out-of-state locations. Most, if not all, include college and university visits, but we also have cultural excursions. By cultural, I’m speaking of cultural in terms of the State we live in. California has many historic sites that few of our young people today know about, and if they do, it is most likely because a grown up made a movie about it. With that in mind, some of my fellow educators and I will be travelling to Northern California to help my students “rediscover” the rich history and culture of what it means to be a Californian. Since the beauty of the sites can speak for themselves, I’ve decided to give a few images to tempt readers into discovering California U.S.A. for themselves.

Enjoy!
